About Heidi Zerance , CRNP

Heidi is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her extensive medical career began in 1998
at the Polyclinic Medical Center where she attended the Polyclinic School of Diagnostic
Radiography and the Pinnacle Health School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, earning the
Outstanding Clinical Award. Heidi became board certified in general, vascular, breast,
pediatric/neonatal, and OBGYN sonography. Heidi continued to strive for excellence and
continued her education in 2014 at Harrisburg Area Community College as a Registered Nurse.
Heidi worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit at
Harrisburg Hospital. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner
in 2022 from Wilkes University.

Heidi began her Nurse Practitioner career with the UPMC Pinnacle Health Cardiothoracic
Surgery team at Harrisburg Hospital in 2023 where she provided exceptional care to patients
and their families in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Heidi joined Newport Family Practice in
2025. She brings her vast wealth of knowledge and provides comprehensive holistic care to her
patients and their families throughout the lifespan.

Heidi’s hobbies include watching her daughters play field hockey, playing the piano, running
outdoors, biking, and spending time with family and friends.

Heidi noted “My passion for education and clinical knowledge has given me the ability to
provide comprehensive holistic care to patients’ and their families. I empower my patients and
encourage them to take an active role in their health and healthcare.”
