Our medical providers are proud to specialize in malaria prevention. In addition, our Selinsgrove location is a certified Yellow Fever vaccination center.
Your Pre-Travel Consultation
When planning for your trip, we encourage you to prepare for any vaccinations or inoculations you may need to stay healthy while abroad. For this reason, we ask that you please schedule your pre-travel consultation appointment with us at least one month in advance of your departure date. This gives your body plenty of time to immunize against any disease you may be exposed to during your trip.
It’s important to note that certain destinations may require you to receive vaccinations and inoculations more than one month prior to your arrival. We encourage you to keep this in mind while planning for your pre-travel consultation. If you’re unsure about your destination’s travel requirements, we encourage you to contact our location nearest you. One of our expert staff members will be happy to assist you over the phone.
During your pre-travel consultation, your provider will assess your needs for inoculations, vaccines, medication, and any other preventive measures to keep you healthy while you’re traveling. We ask that you bring a list of your current medications, vaccinations, and inoculations, as well as your itinerary to your pre-travel consultation appointment. This will give your provider a full understanding of your travel needs prior to your departure.
