Acute Care Clinic
When your primary care physician at Family Practice Center, PC is unavailable on the weekends, our Acute Care Clinics are there for you. At our Acute Care Clinics, similar to urgent care facilities, our board-certified doctors are available to diagnose and treat your conditions when you need them most. If you’re feeling under the weather or have obtained a minor injury over the weekend and are in need of assistance, look no further than our Acute Care Clinics.
Since our Acute Care Clinics are part of Family Practice Center, PC, if you are a patient at any of our primary practices, your medical record is readily available to all our physicians for review. We are here to help you with acute medical care that cannot wait until your primary Family Practice Center, PC clinic is available.
*NOTE: If you are having a life-threatening emergency, please go to the hospital nearest you or dial 911. DO NOT WAIT.
Conditions Treated at Our Acute Care Clinics
Our Acute Care Clinics are there for you, whether you think you have the flu or you got hurt while working on a weekend project. Some common symptoms and conditions our patients come in to see our doctors for include the following:
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Ear infection/earache
- Sinus symptoms
- Respiratory illness
- Cough/bronchitis
- Asthma treatments
- Eye symptoms
- Gastrointestinal illness
- Vomiting
- Constipation
- Allergic reactions (minor)
- Rash/hives
- Insect sting allergy
- Minor injuries
- Minor fractures requiring splinting and/or pain relief
- Minor burns, cuts, and other wounds
- Foreign body removal
